Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to paid custom development services offered by Toolzonix. Our free online tools require no payment and are not subject to this policy.
1. Free Tools
All 50+ online tools on Toolzonix are completely free and require no payment or registration. No refund applies as no charge is made.
2. Custom Development Services — Refund Schedule
Refund eligibility for custom private development work depends on the project stage at the time of the cancellation request:

| Before work begins | 100% refund | Full refund if you cancel before any development work has started. |
| Discovery / planning phase | 75% refund | Refund minus costs incurred for research, planning, and consultation time. |
| Active development (under 50% complete) | 50% refund | Partial refund reflecting work already completed. You receive all deliverables produced up to that point. |
| Active development (50%+ complete) | No refund | Due to substantial work completed. You receive all deliverables produced. |
| Project delivered | No refund | Final deliverables have been provided and accepted. |
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email us at info@toolzonix.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include your project reference number, the reason for the request, and any relevant details.
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- Eligible refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method via Stripe.
4. Cancellation by Client
- You may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice via email.
- Upon cancellation, you will receive all work completed up to that point.
- Refund amounts are determined by the schedule above based on the project stage at cancellation.
- Any outstanding invoices for completed work remain payable.
5. Cancellation by Toolzonix
We reserve the right to cancel a project under the following circumstances:
- Non-payment of agreed-upon milestone or invoice amounts after reasonable notice
- Client requests that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or applicable law
- Inability to complete the project due to unforeseen technical limitations (full refund provided for undelivered work)
6. Disputes
If you disagree with a deliverable or believe work does not meet the agreed specifications:
- Notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery, detailing the specific issues.
- We will review and, where the concern is valid, revise the deliverable at no additional charge.
- If we cannot resolve the issue to mutual satisfaction, a partial refund may be offered proportional to the deficient portion of the work.
7. Non-Refundable Items
- Third-party costs (domain registration, hosting, licensed assets, APIs) purchased on your behalf
- Rush or expedite fees for completed accelerated work
- Consultation fees for completed advisory sessions
8. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of services and additional administrative fees.
